Ed Kurowski
Ed offers a very analytical and comprehensive approach to risk management, acting as an overall advisor for asset protection. He is known throughout the business and insurance community as an “expert” for his technical understanding of asset protection, liability, risk management, and insurance, along with his ability to communicate coverage, risks, issues, etc
Ed has over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Lapre Scali & Co. in 2009 after eight years with Brown & Brown, leading the Prescott, AZ office. He also served as an Underwriter and Marketing Representative with Aetna Life & Casualty early in his career. Ed’s qualifications also include being trained as an Environmental Risk Manager.
Ed’s underwriting background with Aetna has provided an excellent understanding of insurance company operations, policy pricing, and coverages. This is an invaluable asset when negotiating coverages and premiums. Ed’s extensive list of contacts throughout the business community makes accessing outside information and expertise efficient. His ability to gather forces allows him to be particularly effective.
Ed has served on the Prescott Boards of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Arizona, Sharlot Hall Museum (President) and Kiwanis Club of Prescott (Second VP). He was also active in the Yavapai County Contractors Association.

Johnny Kim
Johnny Kim is a six year professional of the insurance industry. He started his career with Farmers Insurance. As Johnny’s success developed, he realized the best interest of his clients hinged on moving to an independent agency where he could access many insurance carriers and insurance programs.
In 2006, he joined Lapre Scali & Company Insurance Services; an independent agency with 15 locations throughout Arizona and Nevada. Johnny is a Commercial Account Executive whose area of proficiency is primarily insurance design for contractors and restaurants.
Johnny earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in December of 2007. He is also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
